Let’s Celebrate the 100th Day of School!

Grade one and kindergarten joined forces in the afternoon today to enjoy some great centre's to celebrate the 100th day of school! We played together in the gym, moving our bodies to 100 exercises, we made fancy feathered 100th day masks, we made delectable fruit loop/cheerio necklaces, we made a 100th day book and we even played on the SMART board collaborating and learning about the number 100! Grade 6 Visit to the JK

The Grade 6 class paid the first of what will be monthly visits to the Junior Kindergarten this morning. Today was buddy reading and the JKs had chosen their favourite books to share with us. While the grade 6 students were reading it was hard to tell which age group was enjoying the stories the most! We are all definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Indoor Hockey Rink at the JK?!?

Yes, it is true – we have made an indoor hockey rink. Ok…there is no ice, but there is for sure hockey sticks, a ball and boards :)

“Are there real skates in there?” one of the boys asked after it was constructed.

Maybe someone out there has some old (little) jerseys we could use to play hockey in?

Crazy hair day is fun
