Kindergarten

January 2012

In this New Year the Kindergarten room is continuing to be a busy place filled with lots of fun and hands-on learning. After returning from our Christmas holidays the class has been learning about the winter season. We are studying seasonal changes and learning about hibernating animals with a special focus on Bears. This always proves to be an interesting and enjoyable study for the Kindergarten students.

We will be learning about bears’ physical attributes, habitat, food and how they prepare for the winter. Throughout the bear study we will be reading many fiction and non-fiction books about bears.

Near the end of our unit we will have a Teddy Bear Day which is always a special and memorable day for all of our students.

Please check back to find out more about our exciting learning adventures in Kindergarten!
